About Fulham Brass Band
Fulham Brass Band, formed in 1895, is a friendly and ambitious amateur brass band. The band rehearses on Monday nights at St Etheldreda’s Church in Fulham from 19:15 to 21:45.
Having been in the London and Southern Counties Championship Section since 2019, the band will be competing in the First Section in 2026 and is eager to make a swift return to the Championship Section. In addition to the annual regional contest, the band performs at a range of engagements, stages regular concerts, and is keen to develop new and innovative programmes and opportunities in our local community and further afield.
The band are now seeking an enthusiastic and talented Musical Director (MD) to build upon these successes and take us into our next chapter. The role is compensated, with a fixed fee covering each rehearsal and performance.
Band ethos
The key priority for the band’s members is to enjoy our music-making together, be musically challenged and take pride in each and every performance.
We have a range of abilities within the band and are looking for an MD that supports each player’s development and can provide direction to all players to move forward on their musical path, both in rehearsal and at home.
