Sam Hairsine studied euphonium under Dr Robert Childs before joining the Royal Marines Band Service, in which he is now a Director of Music. He studied for his Masters in Conducting at the Royal Northern College of Music and has had the privilege of working with top brass bands in the UK and Scandinavia. He’s made recordings and worked around the world in the Royal Marines, first as a player and subsequently as a conductor.
