The earliest record we have of the band comes from the Fulham Chronicle, dated 6th September 1895.
Another early mention of the band appears in the Fulham Chronicle on 20th September 1895.
The Fulham Chronicle from 20th December 1895 features an article about a promenade concert held at Fulham Town Hall, highlighting one of the band’s early public performances.
In 1903, promotional material for the band showcased recent competition successes, described the band’s uniform (which is quite similar to our uniform today!), and highlighted key members of the ensemble and its committee.
