Fulham Brass Band have had a busy few months and are now looking ahead to our exciting Summer Season. We went to Stevenage to compete in the Second Section at the London and Southern Counties Brass Band Area contest and were very pleased to be placed 7th out of 18 bands. Just two weeks to go until the annual and important Areas contest for Fulham Brass Band! On the morning of Sunday 17^th March (St Patricks day!!) we will be piling into the Main Hall at Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre to give our rendition of Edward Gregson’s ‘The Plantagenets’. This tricky and detailed symphonic study has really suited the band and explores two continuing themes (one fanfare like and one lyrical).

The band will spend the next 13 days working hard to give our best performance in the Second Section at the London and Southern Counties Brass Band Area contest. So raise your pint of Guinness and come and support Fulham on our quest for victory!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone from Fulham Brass Band! After a positive year with a lot of changes, we are now working hard towards our next outing in 2 weeks.. The Butlins Mineworkers Open Brass Band Festival 2013! This year the contest date will be Saturday 19^th January in the glamorous Northern holiday spot of Skegness and we will once again be competing against bands from all over the country in the Second Section.
