National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain 2012
Felling Band, current North East Champions are having an open rehearsal at Fulham Brass Band’s rehearsal venue (St John’s Church, SW6 1PB) tomorrow evening (Friday 19th Oct) from 19.30. All are welcome to come along and listen to the band as they prepare for their performance at The Royal Albert Hall on Saturday.
On top of that our own conductor Rob Richardson will also be competing against many of the top bands in the country as Principal Baritone with current London & Southern counties champions Zone One. Good luck everyone.. see you in the bar!

After a disappointing but fun day out at Whychavon Festival of Brass (we came 5th out of 7!) the band are next appearing at The Lights Theatre, Andover with a joint concert with Test Valley Brass on Saturday 6th October at 7:30pm.. do come along to support the band!

Fulham Brass Band received a request from BBC Radio 1 at short notice to supply a brass quintet for a somewhat undercover mission at the station. We were unaware at the time of the nature of the gig, except that we were to play live for about 1-2 minutes on air on Thursday September 6th…
Fulham take part in a wedding proposal and she says…
… YES! On We
dnesday 29th August, a few members from Fulham were part of something very special on the South Bank. We had been asked to perform some romantic numbers to accompany a gentleman proposing to his girlfriend in full view of the passing public. After a meal in the Festival Hall the couple walked towards the river where a few members from Fulham Band appeared from the crowd playing an arrangement of ‘Love lifts us up where we belong’, this led to the romantic gent getting down on one knee. She of course said ‘YES’ and much to the glee of the passers-by we followed the loved up couple to their car playing an arrangement of ‘I believe I can fly’. Fulham are available for weddings, bah mitzvahs, funerals and now proposals.
